WOOD EchoHeart ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that helps users generate emotionally appropriate AI replies for selected text. This policy explains how we handle your data.
Website content (selected text): When you right-click and trigger the extension, the text you have selected is sent directly to the AI provider of your choice (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek, Google, xAI, Zhipu, Alibaba, Moonshot) using your own API key. This text is not stored or logged by us.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal identification information, browsing history, location data, or any other user data. All processing happens locally in your browser or directly between your browser and the AI provider's API.
Your API key is stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.sync. It is only used to authenticate requests to the AI provider you select. We never see or store your API key on any server.
The Extension communicates with third-party AI APIs based on your selection. Please review the privacy policies of those providers for how they handle your data.
